A Door Between You and the Rest

The master bedroom is its own separate room — a queen bed, its own window, and a door that closes. Out front, most villas add a sleeper sofa to the living room for a second or third guest.

The kitchen is a real one: full-size refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and a dining table for four. Most one bedroom villas have a single bathroom; a handful were built with two, one just off the master. Named after the mountains around it — Piedmont, Cherokee, Blue Ridge, Great Smokey among them.
